KUWAIT: Health Ministry Undersecretary Sheikh Dr Salman Khalifa Al-Sabah conducted an inspection tour of several health centers in Al-Mutlaa to assess operations and the level of services provided, and ensure they are keeping pace with the growing healthcare needs of residents. The ministry said in a statement that Al-Sabah inspected several clinics, departments and support services during the tour, reviewing patient flow, appointment booking and scheduling procedures, and service delivery mechanisms.
He was briefed by officials and healthcare workers on patient attendance rates, the services provided and key operational needs. He also met with a number of patients and listened to their observations and experiences regarding healthcare services. Al-Sabah discussed with medical, technical and administrative teams ways to improve the centers’ operational efficiency and address their needs for qualified staff, equipment and other services.
The discussions also focused on making optimal use of available resources to strengthen the capacity of primary healthcare facilities to meet rising demand. Al-Sabah stressed the importance of field visits as a practical means of identifying needs and challenges directly and addressing them in ways that improve the quality of healthcare and patients’ experiences.
