On Saturday morning, family members discovered him in critical condition and hurried him to a hospital, where medical professionals pronounced him dead.
The family claims that in order to drop the case, the girl’s mother sought Rs 60 lakh. The family also claimed that the complainant’s attorney had threatened them and put financial pressure on them. They said that Love committed suicide as a result of depression brought on by the ongoing pressure.
After the mother claimed that Lovejeet and another guy had taken her daughter for a car ride and returned her scared and injured, authorities confirmed that a formal complaint under the POCSO Act had been filed at the Dabra City police station in April.
At the time, the accusations had caused indignation. Lovejeet, who finished his engineering studies at an institute in Indore and was employed by a multinational corporation in Gurgaon, is said to have excelled in his board exams in Dabra.
